Wedding guests: the whole family in one vehicle

With one vehicle, the group stays together. Nobody has to arrange a second car.

  • New vehicle: our air-conditioned Force Traveller was delivered new on 4 September 2026.
  • All 17 passenger seats are for guests. Our local driver doesn't take a guest seat. Our support staff don't travel with you; they are on call, by phone and WhatsApp, for the whole trip.
  • Seventeen is the legal limit. We can't seat a child on someone's lap to go over this. Count small children too.
  • Big luggage is no problem. Suitcases go on the roof carrier and small bags on the overhead rack, so all 17 can bring their bags.
  • More than 17 relatives? We own one Traveller. For a bigger group, we can sometimes arrange a second vehicle with a partner operator. If that isn't possible, we tell you plainly.
  • Get car-sick in the hills? We offer a front-row or window seat to anyone who does.

Large suitcases go on the roof carrier, so all 17 seats stay free for guests.

Half-day or full day: planned around your function timings

Yes, we offer half-day sightseeing, with pickup from homes and wedding venues. We plan the route and timings around your function schedule, and send them in writing with your quote.

  • Fix the return time first. Leave time for relatives to rest and get ready, before the next function.
  • The big sights are full days: from Koraput town, Deomali is 53 km (about 1 h 45 min), Duduma 68 km (about 1 h 40 min) and Gupteswar 76 km (about 2 h). We tell you which places fit your free hours.
  • Daylight driving: we plan long hill drives for daylight. A sunrise start works well. We avoid driving late at night on hill roads.
  • Adding a stop on the day? We tell you the price before we drive there, never after.

Elders and children: steps and walking at each place

If some relatives can't manage steps, tell us in your first message, and we plan the day around them.

Steps and walking at each place
PlaceSteps and walking
Gupteswar cave templeAbout 200 steps up to the cave, through forest
DeomaliThe road is tarred to the top, with a steep final stretch
Duduma waterfallAbout 900 steps down from the parking to the falls, and the climb back is hard: carry enough water, and chocolate for energy. The locomotive ride down is closed to tourists.

Relatives arriving at different stations or airports

By train: Koraput Junction is on the Kirandul–Visakhapatnam line, and the Hirakhand Express runs overnight from Bhubaneswar. Every train and its times are on our Koraput train timings page.

By air: IndiaOne Air flies to Jeypore Airport from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam. The times are on our Koraput flight timings page.

We pick up and drop at:

  • Koraput: railway station, bus stand or hotel
  • Jeypore: town, bus stand or Jeypore Airport
  • Semiliguda: our base
  • Railway stations: Koraput Junction, Damanjodi, Jeypore, Rayagada and Araku
  • Visakhapatnam: the airport and the railway station. The road via Araku takes about five hours, more with stops. Vizianagaram is on request.

Send us each arrival point, with its date and time. We confirm the meeting point and the driver's number the day before. The driver arrives before the agreed time. If a train or flight runs late, message the driver; we wait.

When to book in wedding season

Odia weddings pause during Chaturmas, the four months of the rains, and pick up again from late November. We own one Traveller, so message us as soon as your free day is fixed.

Winter days suit a day out, but nights in Koraput drop to 3 °C. Bring warm clothes for everyone, and an extra layer for elders on an early start.

A message or an availability check doesn't hold the vehicle. A booking advance of ₹3,000 per day of the trip does, paid by UPI on our booking page. The price for the whole vehicle comes in writing on WhatsApp, and the advance counts towards it.

If your wedding dates move, changing the trip's dates is free, to any dates the Traveller is still open; the advance moves with the booking. If the change adds days or distance, we send the new price in writing before it applies.

Cancelling any time before the trip starts is free, and the advance comes back in full. If we cancel, for any reason, we refund everything you paid. The full rules are on our terms and refunds pages.

What the quote includes

We have no rate card, because a Deomali day and a Duduma day cost differently. You get one written price, for the whole vehicle, for your agreed route and days. It isn't a per-kilometre rate.
