How booking works

  • Ask for a quote on WhatsApp first if you like: an enquiry costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
  • A booking advance of ₹3,000 per day of the trip, paid by UPI, holds your dates once it reaches us.
  • The trip price is confirmed in writing on WhatsApp. The advance counts towards it, and the balance is due at the end of the trip.

If you need to cancel

Cancel any time before the trip starts
Free. The advance is refunded in full.
Change your dates
Free, to any dates the Traveller is still open. The advance moves with the booking.
If we cancel, for any reason
Everything paid is refunded in full.

Also worth knowing

  • Tolls, parking and permits on the agreed route are already in the quote.
  • A night halt away from Semiliguda is charged at the rate quoted with your itinerary.
  • Stops added on the day are priced before we drive to them, never after.

Refunds go back to the same UPI ID or bank account the advance was paid from, normally within 5 to 7 working days.

How the quote works

We quote per trip for an agreed route and number of days, not per kilometre. The quote lists what is included so nothing changes at the end. Typically it covers the Traveller, driver, fuel, tolls and parking for the agreed route. Meals, entry tickets and hotels are paid by you directly. Extra stops beyond the plan are agreed on WhatsApp before the day, with their cost.

We do not publish a rate card because a Deomali day and a Duduma day cost differently. Send dates, group size and route and you get a written price the same day.

Pickup and drop

  • Railway stations: Koraput Junction, Damanjodi, Jeypore, Araku, Rayagada and the smaller halts, plus Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam on request. The full station list has drive times from our base.
  • Koraput town: railway station, bus stand or your hotel.
  • Jeypore: town, bus stand or Jeypore Airport (IndiaOne Air from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam).
  • Semiliguda: our base, on the highway between Koraput and Sunabeda.
  • Visakhapatnam or Araku: on request for the full trip; the road via Araku takes five to six hours.

Luggage, seats and driving hours

  • Suitcases go on the roof luggage carrier and small bags on the overhead rack, so seventeen people keep their seats free. Tell us your luggage and we confirm it fits.
  • Front rows and window seats for anyone who gets car-sick on ghat roads.
  • We plan long hill drives for daylight and keep the driver's day sensible. Sunrise starts are fine; late-night ghat driving is avoided.

    We send the route, timings and the written quote. Ask anything before you decide.

  3. Day 3
    Pay the booking advance

    ₹3,000 per day of the trip, by UPI, on your private booking page. Cancelling or moving your dates before the trip starts is free.

Moving your dates is free: change the start date on your booking page, or tell us on WhatsApp. Route changes are handled on WhatsApp as early as you can tell us. Weather and road conditions in the hills sometimes change a day's plan; the driver and support team will suggest the safe alternative.
