Why this order
Day one is light for people who travelled overnight. The early start comes on day two while everyone is fresh. The long Duduma day sits in the middle so nobody drives it tired on a departure day. Gupteswar closes the loop on the west side, near the road out to Jeypore and the railway.
Swaps that work
- Ride one section of the Kirandul line by train on day four while the Traveller meets you at the other end; ask us about timings.
- Replace Onukadelli with the Machkund temple complex on non-Thursdays.
- Coffee estates around Koraput can slot into day one if the group likes a slow afternoon.
